Sunday, March 6th is National Oreo Cookie Day! TheSoul Publishing and 5-Minute Crafts are celebrating by sharing delightful recipes inspired by Oreos. Their YouTube channel, 5-Minute Recipes, features a variety of recipes perfect for honoring the cookie we all love with milk!
Oreo Cookie Owl Cupcakes:
Transform a standard chocolate cupcake into an adorable owl treat! Start by frosting a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing, then cut an Oreo cookie in half, cream side up, and place it on the frosting. Add a small dot of chocolate icing on the Oreo cream and stick on two M&Ms for eyes. Finally, use a third M&M as a nose, and you’re all set!
Mini Oreo Cheesecake:
Arrange Oreo cookies on a baking sheet, wet them with egg, and crush them using a rolling pin or another pan. Scoop the crushed mix into a cupcake tray lined with cupcake liners. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of the liner, add cream cheese on top, and bake. After cooling, finish with sprinkles or any toppings you prefer, and enjoy!
Easy Oreo Cake Pops:
Crush a package of Oreos and mix them with cream cheese. Form the mixture into balls, insert toothpicks, dip them in melted white chocolate, and freeze. Delicious!
