Quick and Simple Marshmallow Dreidels

Since my children were small, we have gathered in the kitchen every Hanukkah to craft marshmallow dreidels. It’s a simple and enjoyable activity! The tradition has persisted even as my kids have grown into young adults. Not only are they a blast to make and yummy to eat, but they also create an eye-catching dessert presentation at our yearly Hanukkah celebration!

Marshmallow Dreidels

The bodies of the dreidels are made from marshmallows, with chocolate kisses as the tips, and pretzel sticks used for the knobs. Dipping them in melted white or milk chocolate provides a base for colorful sprinkles.

Ingredients:

– One bag of marshmallows
– One bag of thin pretzel sticks
– One bag of Hershey’s Kisses
– One package of white chocolate chips
– One package of milk, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate chips
– Assorted sprinkles

Directions:

1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
2. In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the chocolate chips over low heat, stirring often to avoid burning. Remove from heat when melted.
3. Insert a pretzel stick into each marshmallow, pushing it about three-quarters of the way in. Using the pretzel stick as a handle, dip the marshmallow into the melted chocolate until fully coated. Attach a Hershey’s Kiss to the opposite end of the marshmallow. Place each on the lined baking sheet and decorate with sprinkles.
4. Refrigerate the marshmallow dreidels for 10 minutes before serving.

Enjoy!
