MISSION of the Grant Halliburton Foundation
The Grant Halliburton Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the network of mental health resources for children, teens, and young adults, promoting improved mental wellness, and preventing suicide.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Founded in 2006 in memory of Grant Halliburton, a Dallas teenager who struggled with depression and bipolar disorder before his tragic death by suicide at the age of 19.

The Foundation’s mission is to assist families and young individuals in recognizing the signs of mental illness via various means such as mental health education, collaboration, encouragement, and provision of information.

Grant Halliburton Foundation provides an array of programs, presentations, and an annual conference addressing mental wellness, suicide prevention, bullying, resilience, and other relevant youth mental health issues.

The Foundation has also established Here For Texas, which encompasses HereForTexas.com, a searchable online database of mental health resources available in Texas, alongside the Here For Texas Mental Health Navigation Line, a free helpline. These resources aim to facilitate access for Texans seeking mental health and addiction information and support.

Each year, Grant Halliburton Foundation imparts mental health education, training, and support to over 49,000 students, educators, parents, and professionals.
