
Ingredients:
- 1 box of regular chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup plus 1 container (16 ounces) of cream cheese frosting, separated
- 36 lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles, M&Ms minis, and red Fruit by the Foot fruit rolls
Instructions:
- Prepare the cake according to the package instructions, using a greased 13 in. x 9 in. baking pan. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Mix in 1/2 cup of frosting thoroughly. Form the mixture into thirty-six balls of 3/4 inch and thirty-six balls of 1 inch. Place them on baking sheets. Freeze for at least 2 hours or refrigerate for at least 3 hours until the cake balls are firm enough to handle.
- To put together the snowmen, insert a lollipop stick into a large cake ball followed by a small cake ball. Stand the cake pops in a foam block. Microwave the remaining frosting to warm it; stir until smooth. Drizzle the frosting over each pop.
- Using sprinkles, create faces and buttons for the snowmen. Decorate with M&Ms and pieces of fruit rolls to add earmuffs and scarves. Allow to stand until set.
