
Ingredients:
– 3 cups of sifted flour
– 3 teaspoons of baking powder (omit if using self-rising flour)
– 1 teaspoon of salt (omit if using self-rising flour)
– ¼ cup of sugar
– 1 can (12 ounces or 1½ cups) of your favorite beer
– ½ cup of melted butter, divided into two ¼ cups
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Combine the dry ingredients, then mix in the beer and ¼ cup of melted butter.
3. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
4. Drizzle the remaining ¼ cup of melted butter on top for a crispy crust.
5. Bake for 1 hour.
6. Once done, remove from the pan and let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
