Ingredients:
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 3 chopped Granny Smith apples
- Caramel sauce
Crumb Topping:
- 1/4 cup of chilled butter
- 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Fit the pie crust into tart pans, carefully pinching the edges to shape it. Arrange the chopped apples evenly within the crust and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- In a separate bowl, use a pastry cutter or fork to combine the cold butter, brown sugar, and flour until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Then, use your hands to clump the mixture into larger crumbs. Sprinkle this over the apples and add another drizzle of caramel.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is lightly browned and the crust has turned golden.
- Let it cool down before serving.
