Chocolate Melting Bombs

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate chips (choose from milk, dark, or white)
  • Hot cocoa mix
  • Optional extras such as mini marshmallows, sprinkles, or toffee bits

Instructions:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips by heating them for 30 seconds, stirring, and then continuing to heat in 15-second increments, stirring until fully melted.
  2. Using a spoon, place dollops of melted chocolate into your molds, spreading it evenly around the edges to coat them.
  3. Put the molds in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
  4. Fill each mold three-quarters full with hot cocoa mix and any optional extras.
  5. Cover the mixture with the remaining melted chocolate to seal the back of the bombs. Return the molds to the fridge until the chocolate sets completely.
  6. To serve, place the bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it, stirring until it is completely melted.
