Ingredients:
– Butter
– 36 thawed tater tots
– 10 eggs
– 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or half-and-half
– 1/2 cup shredded cheese
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons onion powder
– 1 package (2 1/2 ounces) real bacon pieces
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease a muffin tin with butter. In each muffin cup, place three tater tots and press them down.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and bacon pieces. Season with salt and pepper according to your preference. Pour the mixture over the tater tots in each muffin cup until full.
To catch any spills, place a cookie sheet under the muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.
NOTE: These can be prepared in advance so that you can simply heat them in the microwave for a quick meal on the go.
